Unit G Question #4

4.What is the difference between a graph having a vertical asymptote and a graph having a hole?
A vertical asymptote is similar to a horizontal asymptote but differs in how to find what it is. Vertical asymptotes are a range of numbers that cannot be used in the function. Unlike a hole a graph will always have a vertical asymptote.
          e.g.

On the other hand, a hole is literally a "hole" in the graph, which is a point where the function has no       value. Is it just one point on the graph, opposed to an entire line. A hole is made when something is factored from the factored equations.
          e.g
